Vacancy: Provincial Coordinator – Eastern Cape

Expo for Young Scientists is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the expansion of its science engagement activities across schools in the Eastern Cape province.

This role focuses on:

  • Growing participation in the Expo activities within schools
  • Building partnerships with government and STEM stakeholders
  • Implementing strategic plans and marketing initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree/diploma in science or education
  • 3–5 years in a science expo committee or school environment, or 5–8 years teaching science at the secondary level
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the province
  • Should ideally be located in East London or Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), as a major hub for the province
