Vacancy: Provincial Coordinator – Limpopo

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists and innovators? The Expo for Young Scientists invites applications for the position of Provincial Coordinator in Limpopo.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to lead, grow, and strengthen science engagement activities across schools in the province. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding participation, supporting young researchers, and building valuable partnerships to advance STEM education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow participation in Expo activities across Limpopo schools
  • Build and maintain partnerships with government, education, and STEM-related stakeholders
  • Implement the organisation’s strategic plans and marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Science or Education
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a science expo committee or school environment, or 5–8 years’ teaching science at secondary level
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the province
  • Ideally based in Polokwane as a central point for coordination
