Eskom Expo for Young Scientists is seeking a Provincial Coordinator for the Northern Cape.
The key performance areas for this position will be the expansion of Eskom Expo for Young Scientist’s activities within schools in the province; building and maintaining partnerships with government and other key stakeholders in the field of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and innovation (STEMI) education; the implementation of a provincial strategic plan and marketing of Eskom Expo activities.
Applicants should hold a degree/diploma in the science/education field; have 3-5 years of working experience in a regional science expo committee or in the school environment or 5-8 years teaching a science-related subject up to secondary school level; a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle; be competent in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and be proficient in the use of English in written and verbal communications. Frequent local travel will be required within the province.
